about

5 track EP + bonus video

Every track on this EP is performed live from scratch, created by hand with no prepared loops, parts or edits. Includes recreations of Pal Joey's seminal club classic 'Hot Music' (www.youtube.com/watch?v=GCAyAlYyTv8) and the Minnie Riperton sample used in A Tribe Called Quest's 'Lyrics to Go' as well as J Dilla's beat for Slum Village 'Fall in Love' (www.youtube.com/watch?v=_y5hfbLTD6M) + two original tracks 'Brukstep' (www.youtube.com/watch?v=ijNaEfWkWQY) and 'La Selva' (www.youtube.com/watch?v=hOTrD-koudE)

The bonus track is an extended edit of 'Hot Music'. The bonus video is the live performance creation of 'Hot Music'.

The One Take series has been released in tandem with Mark's new album Kickstarter campaign - support it here before November 12 ! kck.st/163aUuQ
